All over the world, public health care system is imploding. Carers on strike, angry patients, cuts are on the daily news. What are many countries doing in order to keep it alive or thriving? This is what we will find out during an international investigation from Germany, France the UK and Sweden to the US and Japan. All along this one-off, there appears a new perspective concerning health and treatment. Prevention is key, while we should be refocusing on the proximity between doctors and the patient – family doctors should be compulsory, more carers should be sent to the countryside. Overconsumption of drugs shall be regulated. Finally the combination of conventional and alternative medecine must be encouraged.
