henry iv’s music – from renaissance to baroque

Principally shot at Fontainebleau’s castle, this film is a musical path gathering the different main composers of Henry 4th reign. Consider as a transition period in the History of music, this reign (1572 to 1610) marks the slowly change from Renaissance peak to a new form of estheticism: the Baroque music.
