Expedition: Kachgar

Geoffroy and Loic, two brothers who dedicate their time to the study of water are travelling along the mythical Silk Road in search of its “blue Gold” – water. On this historical commercial road, this duet of explorers will witness the different levels of globalization – from barters and exchanges in between neighborhoods, to handmade and manufactured products exportations. From the nomadic people in Kirghizstan to the doors of Europe, the road-documentary aims to show that each time we produce, exchange and buy a good, water is highly needed, and this needs to be changed.
