When you think of Spain, you may recall friendly diners in the country’s restaurants, which are open till very late. You may also think of more or less small portions of tapas of any sort. But tortillas, Iberian ham, gazpacho, or paella, have already crossed the country’s borders for a long time. Spanish food’s reputation has been spread through popular culture and top starred chefs. And their cuisine now ranks third out of the best world’s gastronomic destinations. This documentary explains how and why this has happened.
