During Cold War, Europe was split also in terms of Nature. From the farthest reaches of Scandinavia to the Balkans, Western Countries and the Soviet Union were separated by 12,500 km of no man’s land, walls and barbed wire, as well as armed patrols.
Today, previously separated countries are working together to create transborder national parks and reserves to transform these places into biodiversity sanctuaries.
This 3-part series takes the viewer on a journey through this treasure of flora and fauna to give us an exceptional experience along one of the most ambitious ecological projects on the planet: the European Green Belt.
